Lone heron

This was taken on a glorious Sunday morning in Louth, while out for a walk with my lovely boyfriend. I wish we could pootle about every weekend like this.

I’ve finally finished my patchwork and quilting class. Ten weeks ago I had no idea how to use a sewing maching, but last Monday I finished my very first quilt! I’ll post some pictures of it soon. I’m turning my attention to Christmas now, namely making some cards. I’ve also promised my cooking sister that I’ll make her some bunting. My housemate Joey’s machine has gone on a little holiday, so I’ll finally have an excuse to pop down to Sew Over It in Clapham at the weekend. I can’t wait!
